Schots Home Emporium is moving its Geelong base to a new location after a planning permit was issued by the City of Greater Geelong. The council initially opposed the move, however after being provided with researched VCAT decisions, and a thorough examination of the planning controls we were able to secure a planning permit for the relocation to larger premises.
The new premises will provide warehousing and distribution as well as retail sales from a former industrial site bringing more jobs and services to the northern suburbs of Geelong. Without proper management of the planning process the was a possibility that this enterprise would have been lost to Geelong.
